Anecdotal: The smudge or steam of Pulicaria is a repellent that can drive out malevolent spirits. It can be bundled with Hypericum and grain then hung in doorways to prevent their return. Pulicaria can be bound to ones head for the purpose of exorcising spirits that have wreaked havoc with ones mind. It is also handled as a restorative that fortifies personal shields of protection.
