I have always admired the beauty of moss. My son also thinks the mossy patches in the woods on our land are one of the best places to be. He gave his daughter the middle name , Moss, when she was born.
That is a lovely story. Have you ever seen the pictures of the Buddhist moss garden in Japan? The garden is hundreds of years old and the monks cultivate hundreds of species. I don’t think there is any place like it on Earth except perhaps some hidden canyon in some remote place. Moss is highly significant in hunter-gatherer life, regarded as a sacred link to comfort and abundance as well as a habitat for benevolent Earth spirits. Pure magic in any realm.
