Anecdotal: Juncus is entreated during water rituals and is Bull Medicine. It is used for finely woven baskets, mats and medicine bags. The stems of Juncus have been split for coiled baskets as well and rendered into thread for embroidery on hides. Its tea can be used as a wash for strength and protection against injuries to the legs. The spirit within Juncus is invoked to promote the productive rest needed during times of transition and rebirth.
